Financial Aid Process and Timeline
Once a student has been accepted to the University of Saint Francis, their student file will be reviewed to see what type of Title IV student aid programs, Scholarships, Federal Loans and Grants they are eligible for at that time.
To be eligible for Federal Grants, Federal Loans, Federal Work Study, and some scholarships, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.
Students are able to complete their FAFSA starting October 1, annually. This is based on prior-prior year income according to the Department of Education. The Indiana State deadline and USF preferred cut-off date for completing a FAFSA is April 15, annually.
Live Wisely: USF Affordability
USF works to make its quality education as affordable as possible. Our Office of Financial Aid administers state and federal grant, loans, work-study, and institutional and private forms of aid, including scholarships.
We believe the USF experience should be available to all and will work with students and families to find a way.
